There are tons of camera available costing under £50 but the problem is that many of these give dreadfull quality pictures & are not very easy to use so people end up wasting money on cameras that to be honest will last just about a year before iether the battery compartment breaks or the image sensor dies . We do however know that many people do just use a camera once or twice a year or for just basic home or holiday snaps .
The Rollei CL-50 is a very small camera that is aimed at the person who just wants a basic image that will be just about good enough to enlarge to 10x8 inches size if needed . It has a good quality 2.4 inch screen for picture taking or picture viewing . The flash is automatic so there is no need for you to set anything - all you do is just turn it on & take pictures - its that easy to use . There is a video mode if you want to do very basi videos . It has no optical zoom - just a digital zoom that is fine if you just want 6x4 size pictures . The CL-50 uses AAA batteries which is fine for ocasional use . Its got an internal memory that will give you around 30 pictures but you can also use an SD memory card if you intend to take more .
I tried the CL-50 out in our shop in Wrexham & as you can see from the picture of Adrian it does take good pictures . Its not brilliant but for the money its not bad at all . Outside the pictures are better still . Its fast & easy to use & is quite stylish to look at . For under £50 its as good as it gets !
