Hi - im Sue
Photo Hints & Tips

Click on any mini picture below to view as full sized picture

Hi there - my name is Sue - i used to be a pro model ( Clothes & Bikini ) & i used to be a pro Portrait & Wedding Photographer so i guess you may say that i have a lot of experience in all types of photography - from taking the pictures , posing for pictures , to selling the cameras ! .

Over the years i have seen thousands of pictures taken by our customers - many are fabulous - but many could have been fabulous had they realised some basic photographic tips which is why i decided to develop this web page - to give you some basic information to help you take better pictures .

Click on the link button above or to your left to go to Page 2 of my Hints & Tips pages - Adobe Effects Pictures .

Other questions we often get asked relate to ISO settings & Zooms - click on the links to your left to go to a page that explains all about these .

Ok - to start with you need a camera ... have a look at our recomended cameras section but also call our shop on 01978 264242 & speak to Steve , Rhodd , or Jack for advice . If you allready have a camera then the tips shown below will still be relevant to you . I would most certainly recomend you get an optical zoom camera - a 3x zoom is more than enough for most people providing it has a good lens & a good image sensor ( pixel chip ) & decent built in flash . For sports or long distance pictures then a compact camera with a 5x optical zoom or a Hybrid camera with a 12 or 15x zoom is better .

Shown below are various mini pictures with basic details on how to take the picture .

The pictures have been downsized to fit on this web site using Microsoft Image Resizer  : http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx ) to give a smaller file size for this web site & a resolution of 576x768 or 1024x768 . When you click on the picture a larger version will come on to your screen - it is not a full sized image but will give you a good idea of how sharp & how well exposed the picture is . If you would like to see a full sized picture then please click on the " Ask for more Information " link button to your left then ask for a full sized picture .
